Growth divides into two

I’ve noticed several posts warning us against increasing growth. I think the target is too broad. There are at least two kinds of commodities these days, tangible (things) and intangible (knowledge). If you don’t think intangibles are real commodities, why do you pay for them? Indeed, we can call them ‘a commodity of a new type’, in that you can keep it and sell it at the same time. But if we want to restrict the growth of many tangibles in a green way, we should encourage the growth in knowledge infinitely, especially as ‘high design’. In fact, that is the only way we can get ‘more for less’ out of all the rest. --Carl Davidson, USA
